RFK: Theres five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they dont produce science. They dont win the Novel Prize. They dont win the Fields Prize. They dont win the Wolf Prize. They dont produce literature. pic.twitter.com/ikZHqklQjE

@BulwarkClips So he is not only racist but he is ignorant as well. I guess they do go hand in hand, just look at the entire Trump Administration.

Arabs don’t need to ask for a seat at the table of human achievement. They’ve helped shape it. ??? ? Naguib Mahfouz — Literature (1988) ? Ahmed Zewail — Chemistry (1999), Wolf Prize (1993) ?? Mohamed ElBaradei — Peace (2005) Excellence has no ethnicity.

This response reveals the extent of the racism, ignorance, and poor education of RFK. Many Arabs have won the Nobel Prize; for instance, the Egyptian Ahmed Zewail won in Chemistry in 1999, and the Jordanian-Saudi Omar Yaghi won in Chemistry in 2025. The Egyptian Naguib Mahfouz received the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1988, alongside many other individuals of Arab descent. Remember the Arab-Islamic civilization has transmitted science, literature, and philosophy from Andalusia to Europe and the West—regions that were, at the time, mired in an era of darkness. The world’s first university was founded by an Arab Muslim woman in Morocco. Even the academic regalia worn until today by students at Western university graduations—the cap and gown—originate from Arab attire. Concepts such as algebra, the number zero, and logarithms trace back to Al-Khwarizmi; two-thirds of the stars in the sky bear Arab names; and even our numerical system is known as Arabic numerals. The examples are too numerous to list. I can only urge Mr. Kennedy to re-educate himself and refrain from stoking Islamophobia—for such efforts will never change the reality.

@BulwarkClips 1. Completely false. Omar Yaghi won the Nobel in Chemistry in 2025. Ahmed Zewail won the Nobel as well as the Wolf Prize. And Jokha Alharthi won the International Booker Prize in 2019 for Celestial Bodies. 2. And of course, his statement is wildly racist.

It’s time to sit down old man. Ever heard of Mahmoud Darwish (world famous poet)? Edward Said (renowned academic)? Michael Atiyah (Wolf prize)? Huda Zoghbi (leading neuroscientist)? Tony Fadell (invented the iPod)? Amjad Masad (@amasad: founder of Replit)? And many more.
